When I work with dental teams on systems, Dentrix training and protocols I am not only there to teach how to create systems, I am there to give sound guidelines on protecting their license through better documentation. I understand that the hygienist only has a small window of time to perform all her duties, however leaving something out can put you at risk.
In this two part series we will look at the places in Dentrix where the clinical team must find time during the appointment to perform the necessary diagnostics to meet the standards for treating patients.
